Curriculum

Our Curriculum is a combination of academic with developmental appropriate activities. We focus on the whole child and we treat them individually. Teachers follow a schedule in their classroom in order for the children to have a daily routine that gives them sense of security and feeling of belonging. Having a structured schedule will improve their self-esteem. When a child feels secure he/she can learn faster and build their development of social, emotional, cognitive, physical and language skills.

Our academic program is based on high standards on core subjects, focusing on Phonics and Mathematics. In addition, our program also includes Science and Social Studies related with the monthly curriculum. Children are capable learners and our teachers are committed in encouraging the students to learn and enhance their skills. Teachers are here to teach and children are motivated to learn.

Starting with infants from 6 weeks to toddlers we offer PITC (the Program for Infant Toddler Care Partners for Quality). PITC is an outstanding approach that is responsive to what the infants, toddlers and their families bring to care and emphasize relationship-based care. Our teachers create an environment that affects how children learn and how they feel about themselves.

For preschool and Pre-K classes, we are using Open Court Language Arts for language development, literacy and phonological awareness. We are using Real Math program to understand math concepts, counting, sorting, graphing, patterning and problem solving with hands on activities and repetition.

In addition to our strong language and math curriculum, we love to teach topics in science and cultural awareness as an extension of our program. During the summer we have special summer curriculum.
